We worked with FortisBC to assess innovative combination space/water heating technologies as potential natural gas DSM measures. By developing an understanding of the BC market and its actors, the conservation potential within various market segments and DSM programs in leading North American jurisdictions, we helped FortisBC determine which technology groups to include in its program development pipeline that would make future initiatives more effective.
We helped SaskPower understand the opportunity for advanced refrigeration controls. Based on our technical, financial and barriers analysis, Posterity Group continues to work with SaskPower on a pilot study to establish a Measurement & Verification protocol and to develop material that will promote uptake of future program offerings that will reach untapped market segments.
We worked with Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) to improve their understanding of baseline lighting and space cooling energy use profiles for new commercial construction. This in turn helped the IESO refine its commercial new construction programs to increase uptake and make them easier to access.
Posterity was procured to develop new engineering worksheets for our High Performance New Construction program. I found Posterity to be professional and their work has exceeded by expectations. I would not hesitate to work with Posterity again.

Our staff led the design and implementation of large commercial and industrial custom and prescriptive measure programs, including all client-facing and back-office infrastructure for the Efficiency New Brunswick Large Industry Program and the SaskPower Commercial and Industrial Energy Optimization Program. Both programs have helped their respective participants save millions of dollars in energy costs, and their administrators to meet their DSM objectives.
One of the PG Principals, Bryan Flannigan designed, developed and implemented all of the back-office operational infrastructure for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ $550 million Green Municipal Fund. This work included all processes, transactional infrastructure, review functions, evaluation plans, staffing roles and responsibilities, and accountability functions.
Members of the Posterity Group team helped the Retail Council of Canada design, launch and manage the Retail Energy Bright Program, which has helped dozens of retailers assess and act on potential energy savings and access other Ontario DSM Programs.
Posterity Group helped the IESO and local distribution companies (LDCs) identify and evaluate upstream options within their portfolio, and ultimately, designed commercial upstream programs for three technology areas.
The Posterity team was highly capable, thorough and responsive and the project was delivered on time and on budget. I am pleased to provide this recommendation and will continue to rely on your team in the future.

Our staff helped the Association of Municipalities of Ontario launch the Municipal Energy Performance Benchmarking Project, which enables municipal participants to compare the performance of their facilities to their peer group, and provides an overview of how well the municipal sector performs compared to industry best practices.
We are currently working with Cornwall Community Hospital to provide strategic energy management advice to their VP of Support Services. To date, we have created an energy management model and tracking system and have identified a number of important energy saving measures.
